Frequently asked questions.

What does it mean to charter a yacht?

Chartering a yacht means reserving a vessel exclusively for you and your guests, with a professional crew dedicated to your experience. Unlike resort vacations or cruise ships, your charter is entirely private and customizable to your preferences.

What destinations do you cover?

We operate in five destinations worldwide: Croatia, Italy, Greece, Dubai, and Indonesia. Croatia remains our home waters, where we have intimate local knowledge. For our expansion destinations, we work with carefully selected partners who meet our quality standards.

How do I book a yacht charter?

Contact our charter specialists who will match you with suitable vessels based on your preferences, group size, dates, and destination. We handle the booking process and coordinate all details.

Do you offer customized itineraries?

Yes. Each destination page features sample itineraries, but we create individualized plans for every booking tailored to your wishes, needs, and what's possible in your chosen location.

How far in advance should I book?

For the best vessel selection, we recommend booking 6-12 months in advance, particularly for popular periods. However, we can often accommodate shorter lead times depending on availability.

How is the charter rate calculated?

Charter rates are typically calculated weekly and vary based on vessel size, age, amenities, season, and destination. Our specialists will provide transparent pricing for your specific requirements.

What is included in the charter fee?

The charter fee covers the yacht, professional crew, insurance, and onboard equipment. Additional costs such as fuel, provisions, beverages, and port fees are typically covered through the APA (see below).

What is the APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance)?

The APA covers operating expenses including fuel, food, beverages, and port fees. It's typically 30-35% of the charter fee. All expenses are tracked by the captain, and any unused funds are returned at the end of your charter.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfers for all charter bookings. Detailed payment information and schedules will be provided upon confirmation.

When is check-in and check-out?

Standard check-in is Saturday afternoon with check-out the following Saturday morning, though this can vary by destination and vessel. Your charter specialist will confirm exact timing for your booking.

What's the crew composition?

Crew composition varies by vessel and is detailed on each boat's page. For specific crew information and qualifications, contact our specialists.

How do meal preferences work?

Before your charter, you'll complete a guest preference sheet detailing dietary requirements, favorite cuisines, meal timing preferences, and any special requests. Your onboard chef uses this to create customized menus throughout your charter.

What water toys and activities are included?

Available water toys and activities vary by vessel. Each boat page lists the specific equipment included, from snorkeling gear and paddleboards to jet skis and diving equipment.

What yacht categories do you offer?

We organize our fleet into four distinct categories to help you find the right vessel for your charter experience:

Luxury Yachts: Premium vessels 30 meters or longer, or with weekly rates of €40,000 and above. These yachts feature high-end amenities, spacious accommodations, and full professional crews dedicated to exceptional service.

Traditional Yachts: Handcrafted wooden vessels including Mediterranean gulets and Indonesian phinisis. These heritage boats combine authentic traditional design with modern luxury amenities. Available in various sizes and price points across our destinations.

Motor Yachts: Contemporary motor-powered vessels under 30 meters with weekly rates below €40,000. These yachts offer excellent value while maintaining high standards of comfort and service.

Catamarans: Multi-hull vessels featuring twin hulls for enhanced stability and increased interior space. Available in both sailing and motor configurations.

What are the restrictions on yacht capacity?

Most yachts are limited to 12 passengers due to international maritime regulations, though capacity varies by vessel. We'll match you with a yacht that comfortably accommodates your group.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Most modern yachts offer Wi-Fi, though coverage and speed vary depending on location and distance from shore. Satellite internet is available on many vessels for more remote cruising areas.

Are towels and linens included?

Yes, all towels and linens are provided and regularly refreshed by your crew throughout the charter.

What should I pack?

Bring soft-soled shoes, casual clothing, swimwear, and sun protection. We also recommend elegant attire for shoreside dining. Your charter specialist will provide a detailed packing guide based on your destination and planned activities.

Can I bring children onboard?

Yes, children are welcome. Safety equipment including appropriately sized life jackets will be provided, and your crew will conduct a thorough safety briefing. Many vessels are particularly well-suited for families.

Can I bring pets?

Pet policies vary by vessel. Please inform your charter specialist if you'd like to bring a pet, and we'll identify pet-friendly options.

What is the security deposit?

A security deposit is required and varies by vessel. It's fully refundable if no damage occurs during the charter. Your charter specialist will provide specific details for your chosen yacht.

How much should I tip the crew?

While not mandatory, industry standard is 10-20% of the charter fee, adjusted based on service quality. This is distributed among the entire crew.

Do you recommend travel insurance?

Yes, we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and travel delays. Requirements and recommendations vary by destination. We don't offer or recommend a specific provider, but your charter specialist can advise on appropriate coverage.

What are the cancellation conditions?

Cancellation policies vary but typically become more restrictive closer to the charter date. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment.

Can I change my reservation dates?

Date changes may be possible depending on vessel availability and how far in advance the request is made. Contact your charter specialist to discuss options.
